How can I make a donation to your nonprofit newsroom?
You can make a recurring or one-time donation online through our website. We accept most all credit cards and checks mailed to 3200 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115. For any mailed checks, please enclose your email address as well.
Additionally, we gladly accept gifts of stock and donations from IRAs or through donor-advised funds (DAFs). Fidelity Charitable and Schwab Charitable account holders can take advantage of DAF Direct 
to make recommending grants even easier.
Is my membership tax-deductible?
Yes, your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law (EIN# 87-3337208). After making a donation, you will receive a receipt with all the necessary information for tax purposes.
Why did you launch the Signal Cleveland Supporters Circle?
In the nearly two years since the launch of the Signal Cleveland newsroom, we’ve been overwhelmed by how quickly the community has embraced our team as we work to provide news and information centered on the lived experiences of everyday Clevelanders. To show our appreciation, we launched a Supporters Circle so that our newsroom can give back to you!
If I donate any amount to Signal Cleveland, am I automatically in the Supporters Circle?
The Supporters Circle is for donors who make a monthly commitment of at least $5 in support of Signal Cleveland.
What benefits do I receive for being in the Signal Cleveland Supporters Circle?
We value our members and their impact on our ability to continue bringing readers free, local journalism that ensures news is accessible for all. To show our appreciation, our members receive a Signal sticker, monthly members-only emails from Signal with exclusive looks at what is upcoming in our newsroom, opportunities to give us direct feedback and input, Q&As with our reporters and staff, and the ability to attend in-person Signal Cleveland events.
Why am I being asked for my address when I check out?
We ask for your mailing address in the checkout process to ensure Supporters Circle members get your complimentary sticker and are able to receive future mailers.
How do I manage my membership?
To change your payment method, membership amount, frequency, or billing date, visit our Signal Cleveland donor portal. You can also cancel your donation if needed. Please email membership@signalcleveland.org if you encounter any issues.
What is the difference between a one-time donation and a recurring donation?
A one-time donation is a single, one-time contribution, while a recurring donation is an ongoing, automatic contribution made at regular intervals (monthly or yearly). Recurring donations provide stable support and help us better plan for the future.
Will my personal information be shared or sold to third parties?
