About 200 employers — that are currently hiring — will be at Success Fair 2026.
The job and resource fair takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, 300 Lakeside Ave., Cleveland. Employers will be hiring in more than 20 industries, including construction, health care, public safety and a variety of other government jobs.

McDaniel, one of the main organizers of the event, said it was important to have employers at the job and resource fair who are looking to fill positions. He said it was also important to include nonprofit organizations and other entities that can connect attendees to training for in-demand careers or provide resources that can help job seekers become more competitive. “Every employer and resource partner is carefully selected to ensure they are actively hiring or providing meaningful services that can help participants move forward,” wrote McDaniel, a recruitment and development manager for Cleveland’s Civil Service Commission, in an email to Signal Cleveland.
“In 2026, many individuals and families have experienced layoffs and economic uncertainty,” he wrote, adding that organizers had “intentionally expanded our outreach to employers across every industry and salary level.”
This year there will be a construction careers component that includes demonstrations and the option for participants to register for free Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification training. Certification is often required for construction jobs.
This is the fourth year the Success Fair has been held. The event often draws 1,000 or more attendees, making it one of the city’s largest job and resource fairs. Organizers sought to eliminate barriers that often keep job seekers from attending such events. They range from being unable to afford parking fees and/or child care to fears that employers won’t hire them because they have a criminal record.
Resources that will be offered at Success Fair 2026 include:
- Free parking at the Muni Lot, with free shuttle service to the convention center
- Free RTA bus passes and Lyft/Uber transportation assistance
- On-site licensed child care
- Resume assistance
- Record sealing, expungement and legal assistance
- Resume assistance and workforce coaching
- A professional clothing boutique

Food service and construction training offered at Success Fair 2026
Construction – Turner Construction Co. and Marous Brothers Construction are offering the Construction Experience, which will include hands-on demonstrations to introduce attendees to the skilled trades. Participants will be able to register for free training for OSHA 10 certification, which many entry-level construction workers must have, and OSHA 30 certification, often a requirement for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility.
Food Safety – Limited spaces are available for Level I Food Safety Certification training. This is among the certifications the Ohio Department of Health mandates that the worker in charge of a shift in a food service operation or a retail food establishment must hold.
