Kindergarten cutoff change in Ohio creates uncertainty for CMSD families
Students must now be five years old by the first day of school to start kindergarten but CMSD hasnโt yet set a start date for next school year.
Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) serves more than 35,000 students, making it the third largest public school system in Ohio. CMSD has about 100 facilities across Cleveland and employs about 7,000 teachers, administrators and support staff.
