Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Commission Winter Clothing Program 

When: Oct. 1 to Nov. 30
Where: 3950 Chester Ave. (Cleveland Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Commission)
Details: For veterans in need of winter clothing such as gloves, boots, coats, and thermals. Eligibility includes proof of Cuyahoga County residency, honorable discharge (DD214) and valid Ohio ID. Veterans must make less than $39,125 for one person or $80,375 for a family of four. 

Winter Coat Giveaway at Euclid Neighborhood Center

When: Nov. 20 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Euclid Neighborhood Center, 20001 Euclid Ave. (formerly the Police Mini Station)
Details: Free winter coats, hats, and gloves for families in Euclid and East Cleveland (ZIP codes 44112, 44119, 44123, 44132, and 44143). Hosted by Murtis Taylor.

When: First and Third Friday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. Second Saturday of the month from  10 a.m. to noon

Details: Free shop for baby items, childrenโ€™s toys, and clothing up to size 6x.Donations of clean, gently used clothing and baby items (no car seats, mattresses, or furniture) accepted Mondayโ€“Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
