Love You, Mean It: LGBTQ+ Valentine’s Day trivia at Twist

  • Details: Hosted by local drag queen Omega, this special Valentine’s Day trivia night will have questions about love songs, iconic couples and cultural moments of the LGBTQ+ community. No cover.

Candlelight Concert at Maltz Performing Arts Center

  • Details:  Hear the classical version of modern love songs from artists such as Edith Piaf and Elton John by candlelight. Tickets start at $35.50.

Love Stinks: Valoween Pop Up at Oktober’s w/Skunk Kissing Booth

  • When: 3 to 7 p.m.

  • Details: Oktober’s will host vendors, tea leaf readings for $40, and you’ll even get to kiss a skunk on Valentine’s Day!   

Galentine’s Day at Cleveland Botanical Garden 

  • When: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Where: 11030 East Blvd., Cleveland 44106
  • Details: A celebration of friends with live music, crafts, animal encounters and the Botanical Garden’s Orchid Rodeo exhibit. $25 for non-members.   

Love Sucks: A vampire-themed Valentine’s Day party at Mahall’s

  • When: 9 p.m.

  • Details: Enjoy a full night of goth, emo and alternative dance classics at Mahall’s and try not to get picked up by the single and undead. Tickets are $10.

Cleveland Bazaar at 78th St. Studios

  • Details: A Galentine’s Day celebration with the Cleveland Bazaar’s annual Valentine’s show will feature aura photos, an aesthetician and a flower bar.

Glow Skate at Zelma Watson George’s Roller Rink

  • Details: Zelma Watson George Recreation Center hosts a glow skate at its roller skating facility. Bring the whole family. Everyone gets a free glow stick. 

Chinese Year of the Horse at Asia Plaza

  • Details:  Spend Valentine’s Day celebrating Chinese New Year instead with several dance performances and other cultural activities.  

Valentine’s Day Harlem Nights Celebration at Just Jettie’s Turntables and Aprons

  • When: 8 p.m.
  • Where: 3400 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland 44114
  • Details: Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 1939. A Harlem Nights celebration for friends or lovers with live music and all good vibes. Tickets start at $10.    

Ohio Is For Lovers Alternative Wedding Show

Valentine’s Day Fasching Party at German Central

  • Details: What’s a fasching party? Turn your Valentine’s Day into a celebration of Germany’s version of Carnival season instead. Enjoy a free traditional German brass band show with your bier! 

Lake Erie Folk Festival in Thwing Center at Case Western Reserve University 

  • When:  1 to 10 p.m.

  • Details: Skip Valentine’s Day altogether and enjoy an all-day concert and celebration of roots music by folk artists from all over Northeast Ohio. Daytime events are free, evening concerts are $25 or $30 day of the show. 

Cajun/Creole Cooking Class with Chef Wells
