Cleveland City Council candidates are running to serve residents in 15 newly drawn city wards.

For wards with more than two candidates, there’s first a primary on Sept. 9. The top two vote getters in those races will be on the ballot for the Nov. 4 general election. Wards with two or fewer candidates running will be decided in the general election.
