Black History Art Tours 

  • When: Sundays and Wednesdays in February 
  • Where: Cleveland Museum of Art atrium, 11150 East Blvd.
  • Details: The Cleveland Museum of Art offers guided tours highlighting African American artists in the museumโ€™s collection. Free; ticket Required. Register here.

Relay Cleveland Exhibit

  • When: Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Where: Main Library Downtown, Brett Hall, 325 Superior Ave.
  • Details: The Relay Cleveland exhibit traces the personal and political journey of school desegregation in Cleveland.

Tuskegee Airmen Art Exhibition

Celebrate and Create: Black History Month

  • When: Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Where: Cleveland Public Library – South Branch Main Meeting Room, 3096 Scranton Road
  • Details: This event, designed for children 18 and under, will educate participants on the history of Black leaders, changemakers and artists. There will also be a hands-on arts and crafts activity.

Cleveland Charge Black Heritage Celebration

  • When: Friday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m.
  • Where: Public Auditorium, 500 Lakeside Ave. E.
  • Details: The Cleveland Charge will take on the Greensboro Swarm. Tickets start at $14.

56th Annual Black Flag Raising Ceremony 

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  • Where: 601 Lakeside Ave. E. Cleveland
  • Details: Raise the red, black and green flag over Cleveland City Hall. 

Black History Line Dancing

When: Feb. 12, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Cleveland City Hall Rotunda, 601 Lakeside Ave. E. Cleveland
Details: Celebrate 100 years of Black History with a line dancing party at City Hall.

Douglass Day Black History Transcribe-a-thon

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 14, noon to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Loganberry Books, 13015 Larchmere Blvd.

Relay Cleveland Closing Keynote: Passing The Baton For Educational Equity

Itโ€™s Time for BLAX Museum 2026 โ€” Free Annual Black History Showcase

Spiritual Echoes 2026: A Black History Celebration Concert with Euclid Symphony Orchestra
