6:30 p.m.
This one-hour training will introduce you to local government meetings in Cleveland and how to document them, for the public good.
You’ll learn the basics of notetaking and open meeting law—and how they can be used to document local public government agencies and hold elected officials accountable.
Upon completion of this community-building workshop and a brief quiz, a digital badge will be added to your Documenters.org profile.
While this training isn’t required to apply for notetaking assignment, we strongly recommend it.
It’s all happening Thursday, September 21st from 6:30-7:30pm EST via Zoom.
To register, sign up for an account at Documenters.org, and then click here to register for the note taking training.
If you are new to Cleveland Documenters, be sure to register for the Cleveland Documenters Orientation before this training at 5:30 p.m. Attending an orientation is a requirement for working as a Cleveland Documenter.
